Virtual Enterprise International is a blending of workplace and business experiences with classroom content. Students oversee and work in simulated business firms while learning what it takes to run and manage a real life business. This includes business plans, marketing strategies, business accounting practices, and much more! Three of the firms at V.R. Eaton High School's award winning Business Management and Entrepreneurship academy will be showcasing their firms and presenting their prepared sales pitches to Expo attendees.
The Junior Achievement program uses the classroom as a starting point for allowing students "to start their own entrepreneurial venture while still in high school." Students learn the requirements for starting, running, and marketing their own business through first hand, real life experience.
Visit the BME Academy's G.O.A.L. Junior Achievement group at Expo as they showcase their knowledge of how to successfully run a business where the mission is to "save animal lives and give them a second chance" through handmade animal collars and necklaces.
